Our Snow House Trip aka "Adventure" (Jan 28-Feb 4)

Well let me start with the word "Adventure" is kinda a inside joke with my Carter side of the family that it doesn't always mean a good thing.
Now to further explain...
We were so blessed and fortunate to have the opportunity we did to go up to Mt. Bachelor and stay in a very nice place where each family had their own room and bathroom and with two buildings total we had two big kitchens all together. We were all prepared and we had planned a lot to make it a good and fun trip. Despite the fact that all 3 of my older sisters are expecting and knew that some of our activities would be limited we were still pretty excited as a group that we were still gonna have a ton of fun with all that was around us and all that we planned for....
But, yes the big BUT was that sometimes we just can't always plan for the way things are really gonna go. Lets just say we'll never forget this trip as we all one by one contracted one of the worst viruses we've all ever experienced. Not a single one of our entire family was left out. Not even my blessed Grandparents, and bless them so much they said that it was worth it just so they could have the opportunity to spend that precious time with us. It was hard. It has some humor to it and I know we'll laugh and make some funny memories from it, but I will never wish for something like that to happen to anyone ever on any kind of trip. Coming home was pretty hard. For one my little family (husband and two children) were some of the last ones to get it, we stuck it out trying to stay in quarantine (meaning we weren't out having fun either) for a few days while others were pretty sick. Then when we all got it one by one we weren't completely recovered, especially Jay since he was THE final one to get it we had to go home and HAD to get Jay back to work and important responsibilities since we were already leaving a day later than we'd planned. It was pretty rough, and just sad.
But even inspite of the crazy trip that that was, I'm still so glad we got to have time together as a family and especially that my Grandma and Grandpa White were able to join us, I know that wasn't easy for them, but I'm so grateful to them for making it.
So I think that's pretty much all I'll type about that, enjoy the pictures from our trip. The random ones we got throughout the week.

The morning right before we left to go back home, our group, but without Great G&G, they had to leave early.

We did manage one day to get out when we thought the sicknesses were gone, us sister went to the town of "Sisters" and shopped.

I love these two pictures above of Ry giving love and being silly with Great Grandma

Adorable Gracie

Super Cute Chloe

Corina and Julian getting ready for the toe pick up race, great video goes with it.

my kids walking in the snow with Mimi, we had to get out of the "sick" house on a Sunday.
